Some really helpful platforms and resources here via @das.penman, if you’re unsure how best to mobilise, help out, or express your anger at the injustice of this and the ingrained systemic racism at its core. “The beauty of anti-racism is that you don’t have to pretend to be free of racism to be anti-racist. Anti-racism is the commitment to fight racism wherever you find it, including in yourself. And that’s the only way forward.” It is an uncomfortable reality to confront, but we must be honest with ourselves.” - Ijeoma Oluo

🇳🇬👌🏽🇳🇬👌🏽 Mama Nwosu-Hope’s Nigerian Masterclass opened for another cookalong tonight, and on the menu: Black Eye Bean & Yam Porridge, with the beans prepared PRO👏🏾PER👏🏾LY👏🏾 My #isolationeducation in these traditional Igbo dishes has been a much needed reconnection with my culture & heritage, and I’m so proud, once again it was banging! Starting to really get the hang of this, can’t wait to rustle yall up some jollof on the other side 🍛

We may be socially distanced, but in many ways it feels like we’ve come closer together than ever recently. Feeling very grateful for the platforms we’ve all been able to connect over, and jheeeeze thank the lord for podcasts! It was dreamy to join these wonderful folk to share lockdown tekkers, tips for staying positive, ways we can help in the community, volunteering, eating, drinking & dancing ourselves happy, as well as talking careers, education, politics, life, the universe & everything. Have a gander if you fancy, all pods available on most platforms.

Thanks so much for having me: @stylistmagazine #Workingfromhome, @privatepodcast w/ @jamielaing & @francis.boulle, #lockdownlipsync w/ @iamlaurenmahon, @yahoouk #upcloseandsociallydistant w/ @thekatethornton, @eatraverestrepeat w/ @pips_taylor & @simonatkinstv, @themainstreamuk w/ @remel_london 💗

Just took over @sheamoistureuk to show you how to create a really easy up-do at home, and talk through the products I use for my curls. I have ZERO STYLING SKILL but managed to turn my ponytail into a fringe (calling this THE PONYFRINGE) and would love to see what you come up with too! So have a play around and send me pics of your finished #lockdownlooks. *Ponyfringe inspired by a look @hairbymichellesultan did on my barnet for our Dare mag cover shoot

🇳🇬👌🏽🎉🍲 Dialled back into Mama Nwosu-Hope’s Masterclass Cookalong to learn how to prepare an icon of the Nigerian kitchen: pepper soup.
There were some recipe substitutes, but it’s always a classic, I’ve stuck the ingredients & method in my story & highlights alongside my jollof rice, oxtail stew & plantain and okra soup & gari. My #isolationeducation continues... Can confirm: once again, it was banging 🇳🇬👌🏽🍲🎉

Hello! Welcome to my website, you lovely lot…

…It’s been a busy few years and I’ve basically not slept: from writing for a national newspaper in Buenos Aires to climbing into the tellybox at MTV, before landing at ITN as one of their youngest reporters.

En route I’ve been dubiously trusted to harass…sorry, interview… the biggest names in the biz -from Justin Timberlake to Harrison Ford- and somewhere along the way started getting up at 4am every day to do that breakfast show. I’ve found myself presenting coverage of the beautiful game, cross-discipline cycle sport, precarious Soap Boxes and car crashes in the South African desert with Freddie Flintoff and Lethal Bizzle. Standard. Via an equally precarious cha cha cha on Saturday night TV, a children’s novel, several documentaries and lending my voice to a Hollywood film (say what?), the journey continues…

Have a gander to find out more! Enjoy, ya filthy animals.
